Cozy beer garden, large portions and friendly service at reasonable prices.

Last Saturday I was in the wedding for the first time in this restaurant. The location of the restaurant in the courtyard of the monastery Thierhaupten is relatively easy to find. There are many parking spaces available on site and you generally have no cramped feeling. The restaurant has plenty of indoor seating, including three separate areas that are great for events of all kinds. There is also a terrace with parasols in the courtyard of the monastery. There is also a children's playground and a relatively large meadow. Only these places invite you to linger. Overall, the premises make a very good impression, are suitable for larger group and also promote the presence of wheelchair users, by ramps on the doors. At the wedding I admit, the dishes were all vegetarian. And while I tend to value a good piece of meat, I have to say that the vegetarian dishes that the economy served were very good. The vegetable strudel with tomato sauce is highly recommended. Drinks and coffee also have a super Quailität and was delivered to order very quickly. The staff present was absolutely friendly and helpful by the bank. Any request within its capabilities was fulfilled without discussion. The landlord is a pretty good guy who does not beat you off. Even when I asked for a cup of coffee and cool milk at two in the morning just before the long drive home, he immediately prepared both for me. Finally and in summary, I can only say that this restaurant is highly recommended and in any area somehow negatively noticed. Even the men's toilets are a plus. Clean, spacious and in sufficient number available. I will be happy to come back when I'm on my way. Over the years getting worse, unfortunately. Because we enjoyed dining here, in the past the food and the prices were okay. Neither the food tastes nor the prices are justified today. On the contrary, the grill plate offers bland unsalted fries, semi-raw meat (despite a hint of well-being) with very bad taste and smell. Only and alone the amount offered is the one star awarded. From me no recommendation and also, which of course is, no more visit.

Here we ate well and were friendly served. Still cheap drink prices!
